Along with 30 other talented authors, I was blessed with the opportunity to contribute a chapter about Our Lady of Fatima in this wonderful book of different titles and devotions to Jesus’s mother.

Our Lady of Fatima: How Mary teaches us to pay attention to the details

I was very hesitant about sharing my opening story. It was embarrassing and humiliating but it also shows in a perfect way what happens when we rush through life and not pay attention to the small things.

Since I began working a few years ago at the Blue Army Shrine, which is a shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima, it seemed as if it were time for me to dig deeper into what this was all about. It was time for me to learn more about Mary when she appeared to three shepherd children. As I dug in, my imagination shifted to these children of whom I have paid little attention in the past. There stories are amazing!
